v1.4 — Agent Collaboration

Dan

What's new in v1.4

This is the release we've been building toward since day one. Agent Collaboration lets your Clawployees team work the way a real team does — routing, delegating, and handing off without any manual configuration from you.

Automatic handoffs

When a conversation reaches a topic outside an agent's designated scope, it now seamlessly hands off to the right specialist. A support agent receiving a billing question? It passes the full conversation context — including history — to your billing agent, who picks up mid-sentence. The user never notices.

Task delegation

Agents can now spawn sub-tasks for other agents. Your sales agent can ask your research agent to pull company data, wait for the result, and fold it into a response — all within the same conversation thread. No custom code, no webhook gymnastics.

Shared conversation context

All agents in a team share a unified context window for active conversations. Handoff includes the full message history, any extracted entities, and the originating agent's notes. Nothing is lost in translation.

How to enable it

Collaboration is on by default for all teams with two or more agents. Go to your team settings and configure which agents can delegate to which — or leave it open and let Clawployees route intelligently.

What's next

We're already working on agent pipelines — structured multi-step workflows where agents execute in sequence. Coming in v1.5.
